Competition scores and handicaps are all looked after by a computer programme.
The terminal is situated beside the snooker table in the clubroom. This is linked to a computer in the main office and is on all day long. Members enter their scores into the machine at the end of a competition and can look up their current handicap before starting play, you’ll soon get the hang of it. The golf shop/the office and the clubroom machines are all networked so they can talk to each other but don’t forget to put your signed scorecard into the competition box after you’ve entered your score, so you will still need a pencil.
